Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all..(3/21)

Title: Quote, Harriet Van Horne

So, in the spirit of our next major assignment, I found a link about some fantastic methods of cooking. It has tricks and tips about pretty much everything you can imagine. Although we are not being graded on our cooking abilities, it would still be nice if what everyone made actually managed to taste good.

Wow, this has some great stuff, it’s like all those food myths, tricks and secrets all compiled into one, I love it. I especially like the one about turning the wine into wine ice cubes. However, I found it strange how they say using water you cooked veggies in for a recipe will add nutrition to the dish, I mean it does, but I would imagine that if it added any significant amount then it would severely impact the taste of the dish.
