TED – Weekday Vegetarian
This is an interesting video I found a while ago that provides some new insight into the whole concept of vegetarianism and sustainability. An interesting watch.
Great link, William. I like the way Mr. Hill presents his case. It is helpful to remember that diet is not an all-or-nothing equation; it’s a continuum, where we can eat as much or as little of a food as we like. Cutting a food entirely out of one’s diet is tricky; you almost inevitably lose something. This method of reducing the negative impact of meat while still enjoying the aesthetic and nutritional benefits from time to time strikes me as a very enlightened approach to the issue.
